Acrylic and oil pastel on canvas

Inspired by my roots in Memphis, Homesick is an ode to the Southern comfort foods and traditions that will always be my home. From slow-cooked barbecue and sweet, familiar flavors to the warmth of a table set for gathering, this piece captures the nostalgia of the meals and moments I miss when I’m far away.
